Sabbath Solidarity is spiritually inclusive retreat space designed for organizers of color to rest, regenerate, and revitalize to sustain their inner life and commitment to activism in Philadelphia and beyond. Sabbath is both spiritual and human, based on the need to breathe, take stock, and live a purposefully sustainable life. We gather organizers, activists, and artists of color and share food, reflection, creative expression, and joy as resistance. This is a project supported by a denominational grant through Arch Street United Methodist Church.
